At our assessment office at Linnéplatsen in Gothenburg, you will have about 65 colleagues who work as senior physicians, psychologists, nurses, administrators, and case managers.

Your responsibilities

As a psychologist with us, your main task is to interview and assess our candidates in various selection assignments. You work independently based on our given methods, guidelines, and manuals. The work and methods have a high degree of structure, so it is important that you enjoy a structured way of working.

Your work effort is part of a common assessment chain, which means that you do not have scheduled visits but solve the tasks of the day in collaboration with others.

We continuously work with follow-up as well as method and business development. There may be occasions when you have the opportunity to contribute and participate in that work.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed psychologist issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare
• has at least a few years of work experience in the profession after completing PTP
• can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

• clinical assessments
• psychometric testing

Your personal qualities

As a psychologist with us, we see that you are self-driven, able to take responsibility for your tasks and drive them forward. You can collaborate well with others, where you have the ability to be receptive and have a flexible approach. You can communicate clearly and ensure that information and messages get through.

We also see that you have the ability to weigh complex information together and then make correct assessments. It is also important that you can see the whole picture and take into account the larger perspective.

About the employment

We offer you a permanent full-time position starting with a probationary period beginning in May 2026.

The employment begins with participation in our two-week internal training in interview and assessment techniques. To work in the organization, a passing result on the training is required. The course may take place at the organization's other assessment offices (Malmö or Stockholm).

Due to the nature of the work, you cannot work from home, but we hope that this can instead contribute to a clearer division between work and leisure. You have the opportunity to train during work hours and are offered a favorable wellness allowance. We also offer parental leave supplements and up to 35 vacation days depending on age. About us

At the Swedish Agency for Government and Assessment, we work to make Sweden safer. Our main task is to enlist, enroll in basic training, and register personnel in the war organization. We also conduct tests and assessments for other authorities, such as the Police and the Swedish Defence University.
